Biography

Graduate of New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Studied the Iris Warren-Kristin Linklater Technique with Ms. Linklater. Teaches a variation of this technique which she calls "Voicing." Taught in Tel Aviv, Israel at the Beit Lessin Theatre; in Amsterdam, Netherlands at the Theater Akademie for Kleinkunst; and in Antwerp, Belgium at the Ankerrui Theater and the University Instelling Antwerpen. Vocal and dialect coach for cast members of various Broadway and Off-Broadway productions including The Foreigner, Joe Turner's Come and Gone and MacBeth. Maintains a private practice for professionals of varied backgrounds in Manhattan. Beverly is also a professional actress and singer having performed in various productions including Shakespeare's King Richard III and sung with the United Negro College Fund Choir. Founding faculty member, Exiles Theatre Ltd. in County Cork, Ireland.  She recieved the 2004 David Payne-Carter Award for Teaching Excellence.
